On November 25, 2022, Gloria L. Davidson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, educator and mentor departed this life. She was a retired librarian with the Alexandria City Public Schools. Linda "Queenie" Furbey passed away on Friday January 13, 2023 at her home. Her memory will forever be cherished by her son, Anthony E. Furbey (Karla); grandchildren, Marvin Tyler and Alexyss Thomas, other loviing relatives and friends.

Maria Robinette Cox Forbes was born in Washington, DC at Columbia Hospital, on August 19, 1958. The family lived in Arlington, VA until 1968 until the family moved to Marion, VA.
