Reverend Wilbert Mills, Sr., 92, passed away on June 27, 2023 after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis and other chronic illnesses. A native of Princess Anne County, Virginia, he was the second son of the late Clifton Mills, Sr., and Cleo Foreman Mills. His son, Wilbert Mills, Jr., and siblings, Clifton Mills and Naomi Harris, preceded Rev. Mills in death. He served as pastor of The Warren Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Edenton, North Carolina for 33 years.

Left to cherish Rev. Mills' memory is his wife, Audrey Mills, his daughter, Andrea Hines (Steve), granddaughter, Shayla Hines Graham (Johnny), his sister, Shirley Ricks, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The People's Community Baptist Church Mortgage Liquidation Campaign.
