Unity M. King Obituary

 

After a brief illness, Mrs. Unity Macklin King, former District of Columbia Public School Teacher, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023. Mrs. King was predeceased by her parents Unity and John H. Macklin and sisters, Irma E. M. Hughes, and Bernice T. Mason.


She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mr. Roosevelt Burlington King, and her brother, Herman Elbert Macklin (Alberta). She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews.


Mrs. King wanted to be remembered as she lived, therefore no services are being held. Her spirit is at peace with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
