Sarah H. Jefferson, of Washington D.C., transitioned life surrounded by her family on June 3, 2026, at Sibley Memorial Hospital. A woman of deep faith, Sarah lived life with strength, devotion to family and optimism about the future. She treasured her Family and Friendships and was looking forward to celebrating the age of 100.
She is survived by a brother-in-law Arthur Pittman, 3 loving nieces and 4 nephews; Carolyn Moss (Al), Carolyn Pittman, Vernita Jefferson, Barron Oakcrum (Barbara), Gregory Jefferson (Levene), Jerome Jefferson, and Kenneth Jefferson (Karen).
