Romaine E.B. Thomas

Romaine Ella Bell Thomas peacefully passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Washington, DC. She was born on June 5, 1929, in Washington, DC, and remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped her life. Romaine was married to the late Harry Thomas, Sr., with whom she shared many devoted years of marriage.

She is survived by her children, Debra Truhart (Kim Truhart, Sr.) and Harry Thomas, Jr. (Diane Romo Thomas), eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and family.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Romaine's honor to the Pink Rocki Advocacy Foundation, so that her spirit of care and support for others may continue to make a difference.
