Robert E. Martin, Jr., of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Washington, DC, died peacefully August 25, 2024, at the age of 83.  Dr. Martin was a graduate of Howard University, receiving both a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery.  Dr. Martin served his native District of Columbia community faithfully as a dentist for 52 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Willoughby Martin, his two children, Kelleye Martin Chube (C. Randall Chube) of Oak Brook, Illinois, and Eric Russell Martin of Rockville, Maryland, as well as three siblings, Barbara Martin Tatum (Richard Tatum), Carol Urquhart Carter, Keith Cook Martin (Dawn Martin), two grandchildren, Corbin Robert Chube and Kendall Nicole Chube.
