Reynaldo "Rey" J. Thurston, 83, was a native Washingtonian and graduate of Spingarn High School "54".

He is survived by his devoted wife Rosemarie; sons, Reynaldo Thomas (Rachel) and Michael Adrian; stepdaughters Monica Andrews (Sean) and Rachelle Roberts, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
