Reid C. Rector, 99, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 12, 2023. He is preceded in death by his wife of almost 75 years, Jeanne Rector.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughters; Dr. Michelle Rector Hawkins and Dr. Anne Evans (Everette); brother-in-law, Dr. Kermit Mallette; grandchildren, Dr. John R. Hawkins IV (Cindy) Mercedes Hawkins (Douglas), Everette L. Evans, Christopher R, Evans (Shawne); eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
