Patricia Ann Louise Brown Vailes, 90, passed peacefully on November 18, 2022. She graduated form Dunbar High School in 1950 and Howard University in 1954. She worked for the Metropolitan Police Department and later as a social worker with Child and Family Services.

She is survived by her sister, Dolores Gidney; children Patrick, Patrice and Joye Vailes; four grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
