Ogbonia Alexis Obituary

Ogbonia Fearing Alexis, 90, of Washington DC, left us, surrounded by her friends and family on October18, 2023 from natural causes.

Ogbonia was predeceased by her husband Dr. Carlton P. Alexis and her daughter Dr. Lisa C. Alexis. She is survived by two children, four grandchildren, two great grandsons and countless friends.

Ogbonia was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as our Matriarch. Ogbonia was known for living life to the fullest, and no matter how difficult a situation was she kept a smile and positive spirits. She would do anything for her family and loved fiercely. She made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, and clap at all the life stories she shared.

She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
