Norma Jean Anders-Mapp Obituary



Surrounded by her loving family, Norma Jean Anders-Mapp, 80, transitioned peacefully from her earthly labor to heavenly reward on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Norma grew up in Oxford, NC and moved to Washington, DC at the age of 16. She graduated from Howard University and was a long time public servant for the Government of the District of Columbia.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Lisa Anders; son Eric (Rachelle) Anders; grandchildren, Danielle, Alexandra, Eric Jr., Addison, and Clayton; along with loving relatives and many cherished friends. Norma is preceded in death by her mother and father, Marjorie and Robert Henderson.
