With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Irene Beck, age 91, who entered eternal rest on December 26, 2025, at her home in Washington, DC, surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Garland Alston (Carmen); her sister-in-law, Yvonne Alston; her grandchildren, Timothy R. Beck, Aziyrah A. Peters, Danisha J. Calloway, Aaron D. Cook, Dante D. Gregory and Kimyah A. Dockery; seven great-grandchildren; a devoted goddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends, and a faithful church family. Her love, strength, and devotion to family will remain with us forever.
