Michael Erich Hemphill entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Frazier Erich and Vivian Gardner Hemphill.

Michael was a very loyal, protective, and giving person and a beloved member of the community. He worked in the food services industry for over 30 years, but his personal enjoyment was building things from scratch; creating beautiful landscapes; and umpiring women’s intercollegiate softball games.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sisters: Tawanah Rene Hemphill-Young and Allegra Hemphill; one brother, Dana Hemphill and a host of nieces/nephews and cousins.

Michael was an unbelievably wonderful, loving man who all his loved ones and the world will greatly miss.
