Michael Davis

Michael 'Mike" Davis was born to the late Clarence Davis and Ethel Lee (Wade) Davis on December 11, 1950 in Washington, DC. He gained his wings and descended to his heavenly home on May 24, 2020.

Michael was a proud 1970 graduate of Francis L. Cardozo High School in Washington, DC. He did further studies at Knoxville College in Tennessee and the University of Maryland, College Park. Mike worked as a computer technician at the Department of Agriculture (USDA) retiring in 2008 after thirty-three years of dedicated service.

As a youngster, Michael joined the Simpson United Methodist Church which later became the Simpson-Hamline United Methodist Church. He was a faithful Trustee, Usher and member of the Transportation Ministry. He loved picking up his members on the 2nd Sunday of every month until his health declined. He made sure S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat) was supplied monthly with bread. Mike was a people person. He got great joy in helping others.
