Marva Louise Smith passed away on June 7, 2024, after a brief illness. The daughter of Augustine and Joseph Smith, she was born in New Orleans and relocated to Washington, DC in 1979. Marva's professional career spanned more than 50 years: Middle School Music teacher, Tel-com Engineer and Tel-com Manager. An endearing sister to Joyce Pascal-Kilgore (James) and Joseph George Smith. Marva's love of music and people dominated her life.
