Lucile Coleman Obituary

 

Lucile Coleman, 83, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022, at Inova Fairfax Hospital.  Lucile’s greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and her church families.


She was an usher at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Southeast Washington, DC for over 50 years.  Lucile also loved her work at the Federal court house in Greenbelt, MD and she made many friends whom she cherished.


Lucile was preceded in death by her son, mother and father, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Marthea Lewis (Dennis), Benitta Brown, Dennis Rowe (Vanetta), and James Anthony Rowe; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mildred Pryor and Laura Mercer; one daughter-in-love, Linda Lucas, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
