Larry Felix Albert

Larry F. Albert, of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness, with his wife and stepson at his bedside.
Larry was the only son of the late William Clinton and Gladys Albert. He was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC, where he pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He later received a Masters of Science in Chemistry from Howard University. After 35 years in the DC Public Schools, he retired as a School Administrator. Larry was an avid basketball and tennis player and became an umpire for the United States Tennis Association.
Larry is survived by his wife, Dianne Albert; a son, Timothy Albert of Prairie View, TX; a daughter, J.E. Albert, M.D. of Seattle, WA; stepson, Lewis Washington of Washington, DC; half-sisters, Angalee Copeland, Narriman Alif, Cheriyan Clinton, all of Baltimore, MD; half-brothers, Kenneth Aquil and Wali Aquil, both of Baltimore, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Amanda Gross, Alecia Witherspoon and Charnita Glen who adored, cherished and loved Larry; Marcia Collins and Tyrone Gibson, who allowed him to live out the last years of his life in the comfort of his home.
