Karen S. Emrit

Karen Smith Emrit, of Bowie, MD, died on Monday, April 26, 2021, the day of her 52nd wedding anniversary, at the age of 75, from an extended illness at her home in Bowie, MD. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald C. Emrit; three children Lisa Haynes, Tanya Brooks and Satish Emrit; seven grandchildren Christopher, Michelle and Matthew Brooks; Ryan, Patrick and Keira Haynes and Yanick Emrit; one great grandson Milo Brooks; two sisters Patricia Bransford and Judith Edmead. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, four nieces; one aunt, Mary Moss and many cousins and friends.

Please be mindful that unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, there is a limited in person capacity at both the funeral service and interment, therefore attendance is by invitation only.
