Joyce Crockett Turner

Joyce Crockett Turner, retired elementary school teacher in the D.C. Public Schools, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, after a brief illness. She is sorely missed by her devoted husband, Harold U. Turner; daughter, Stacey Turner Stokes; grandsons Keenan Arthur Caldwell II (Allison), Kameron Ashe Caldwell, and Kollin Austin Caldwell; bonus granddaughter, Kimberly Burton; great grandson, Krew Alexander Caldwell; her surviving siblings; and many other dear family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Gregory Turner, among other beloved relatives.

A repast will be held immediately following the service at Foundry United Church, 1500 16th St. NW, Washington, DC 20036.
