Joyce S. Hasty

Joyce Marie Stewart, 74, was born on October 25, 1946 to the late Walter Stewart and Annie Mae Jackson Duvall in Montgomery County Maryland. She passed away at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore MD on June 18, 2021 after a long and courageous struggle with Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) which is an inherited disorder that causes abnormal connections to develop between her arteries and veins.

Joyce leaves behind to mourn her death a devoted husband of 39 years, Ronald Hasty; a son Anthony Eugene Stewart; step-daughter Rhonda Celmer (Ken), four grandchildren, Ajai, Izzah, Reggie and Anthony; a brother Robert Duvall; sister Gladys Duvall, nephew Tracey Duvall; and a whole host of relatives, friends, golf buddies and well-wishers.

The interment will occur in Pascagoula, Mississippi at the family plot at a later date.

The family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society or Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasis (HHT) Center at John Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore Maryland.
