John Carrington Obituary
John A. Carrington, 81, was born on June 24, 1939 to the late Charles and Ruth Carrington in Roanoke, VA, where he was raised, attended public schools and graduated from Lucy Addison High School. A graduate of Bluefield State College, he worked briefly with the Boy Scouts of America before enjoying a rewarding career with the National Park Service, which he retired in 1994. He was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Rockville, MD.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; nieces, Dawn Stuart, Dionne Kasey, Serena Reed and Margo Stuart; nephews, Russel Stuart, Darryl and Vernon Carrington; and a host of other relatives and friends.
