Joann C. Pegues passed away on Saturday March 11, 2023 at her home. She was born to the late John and Mary Pegues on October 9, 1956 in Washington, DC and was the fifth of six children. Joann is survived by her two loving daughters, Jasmine and Kimberly Pegues; five siblings, Yah Ya Hassan (John Pegues Jr.), Joyce, Judy and Janet Pegues and Jacqueline Pegues Thomas (Lance), as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
