Jeanne M. Rector, 97, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 15, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Reid C. Rector; daughters Dr. Michelle Rector Hawkins and Dr. Anne Evans (Everette); brother Dr. Kermit Mallette, Jr.; grandchildren Dr. John R. Hawkins IV (Cindy); Mercedes N. Hawkins (Doug), Everette L. Evans II, and Christopher R. Evans (Shawne); five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
