James Weldon Cox transitioned peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He leaves a legacy of love to his devoted wife Velma; his daughters, Stephanie Cox and Carolyn Cox Duncan(Scott); granddaughter, Brianna Lily Duncan (his pride and joy!); special daughters, Vesta Wilds Huggins(Ronnie) and Goulda Downer; a host of other family members and friends.
