On Monday, August 12, 2024, Evelyn Thomas went home to the Lord. Evelyn was a star; rising as a producer at CBS for over 30 years covering the US Congress and the White House and traveling with the press during the tenure of President George Herbert Bush. She also was a producer for Bob Schieffer.

Evelyn is survived by her sister, Yvonne Granby, niece Robyn Granby-Poole, and her devoted partner of 28 years, Roy Beckward.
