Evelyn Hemingway Obituary
Evelyn A. Hemingway of the Silver Spring, Maryland passed away on October 3, 2024, at Casey House Hospice.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Calvert Hemingway, who passed away in 1999. Although she and Calvert did not have any children of their own, she was a devoted, beloved sister to the late Elizabeth J. Perry.
Evelyn is survived by her: nieces, Robinette Perry Bowden and Dr. Elizabeth Perry Dodson; great niece and goddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Perry; and extended family; Barbara Ann Henderson, Barbara's daughter Wendy and grandson Liam, Eric Lee Archer, Nancy Thomas (Curtis), Arron Lee Archer, and Christopher Lee Archer. In addition to her family, Evelyn was also deeply connected to her lifelong best friend, Jean Mangum, and Jean's daughter, Rebecca Mangum.
