After completing her degree from Howard University, she became an educator at DC Public Schools until her retirement in 1984.
Eulah made the most of her retirement years, as an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., The Emeralds, Just Good Friends Social Club, and the Smithsonian Institution Women's Committee, just to name a few. She was also a devoted member, for forty years, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, DC where she actively served on the Altar Guild and Women's Committee.
Eulah welcomed everyone with open arms into her home - with warmth, grace and "Ward" hospitality. She was a true example of a loving mother, devoted wife and a humble servant of God and others.
