Ethelbert Dawson, Sr.

Ethelbert Dawson, Sr., 87, peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home. A graduate of McKendree College, Class of 1956, with a degree in chemistry; he was drafted into the US Army and served in Germany and France.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jermaine; children, Mark (Pamela), Theresa (Fred), Kevin, Kelley, Ethelbert, Jr. and Nichole; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife, Bennie Lane Dawson and granddaughter, Bailey.
