Ethel L. Walker Obituary

 

Ethel Lee Walker, 100, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2022 at her home in Washington, DC. Ethel was a retiree of the Department of Defense and the EPA. Among Ethel's greatest joys were her singing in her church choir and her heavy involvement in several humanatarian organizations.


Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Henderson Lee Walker and is survived by her stepson, Joseph Lee, Jr., her nephews, Rev. A.D Syphax, Jr. and Craig C. Syphax; niece Rosetta Bruce, great nephews, Dr. Aaron Bruce (Luda), and Dr. Dana Bruce (Mary); stepdaughters, Patricia Callis (Charles), Janice and Brenda Walker, a host of grandchildren, great-children, other loving family and friends.
