On Friday, January 2, 2026,  Esther L. Rogers, widely respected retired health care sales and marketing manager, with her daughter Lauren and sister-in-law Joanna by her side, peacefully departed this life in home hospice in Silver Spring, MD, after a long illness.

She now joins her beloved parents, the late Webster A. and Louise G. Rogers, and her beloved brothers, Harold and Thomas.  She is survived by loving daughter, Lauren Louise Manning of Washington, DC, and devoted brother, Webster Alexander Rogers, Jr. (Joanna Roberts Rogers) of Silver Spring, MD.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Rogers was preceded in death by cherished brothers, Harold Julian Rogers and Thomas Michael Rogers; aunt, Elizabeth Gary Coates; uncle, Harold Junius Gary;  sister-in-law, Ann Lawrence Rogers,  (Webster A. Jr.); and nephew, Benjamin G. Rogers (Joanna).

She is also survived by cousins Angela Ivey and Cheryll Gary Martin (VA); nieces JoAnne Elizabeth, Catherine Louise; nephews W. Alex III, and Timothy Geoffrey; Nicole Elizabeth, Adrienne Bright, and Brandon Randolph.

Additional survivors include a host of beloved relatives and friends.
