On the morning of June 28th, 2024, Ellen Clark Robinson passed away peacefully at her home in N.W, Washington, D.C.

Ellen was born August 20th, 1928, in Jersey, GA. to parents J.B. Clark (deceased) and Minnie R. Matthews (deceased).

Ellen attended Atlanta Georgia Public Schools, where she later traveled to New York to attend nursing school where she began her career as private duty nurse which spanned over 50 years.

On September 3rd, 1948, Ellen married Ceroy Robinson. From that union they had three children- Cecil Robinson (deceased), Denise R. Hawkins and Benita R. Jones (deceased).

Ellen was preceded her in death by husband, Ceroy Robinson Sr., siblings Odesa Hopkins, Joe Clark and Francis R. Clark, children, Cecil Robinson, Benita R. Jones, and Ceroy Robinson Jr., granddaughter Mary E. Robinson and great-grandchildren Marquiete Jones and Bishop Jones.

Ellen leaves behind to cherish in her memory her dearest brother Berry Clark, daughters Denise R. Hawkins and Maryetta Stafford grandchildren; LaTanya D. Jones, Anika M. Davis (Eric), Tiffany D. Hawkins-Morley (Nathaniel) Christopher Robinson (Kema), Aaron D. Jones Sr. (Nicole), Courtney M. Richardson (Brian)  and Ceroy V. Robinson, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host niece, nephews, family and friends.
