Obituary
Ellen Mae McRoy, a long time Washingtonian, born and raised in Jetersville Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023. Ellen was blessed with a large and loving family, including daughters Shirley Borders and Sylvia Joice, granddaughter, Lisa Borders, two sons-in-law, John Borders and Wendell Joice, nine brothers, two sisters and their respective families.
She had a successful career as a Federal contract specialist and proudly retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1981 after 35 years of service.
