Elizabeth Adams Somersille

Elizabeth Adams Somersille, 100, passed away at Sunrise Senior Living, Silver Spring, MD. She was preceded in death by Rev. James J. Somersille, her husband of 37 years; her parents, Charles F. and Beatrice Martin Adams and her brother, Dr. Charles F. Adams, III.

She is survived by cousins, Carol Martin Buchanan, Elizabeth Morris Wilkins, Reginal F. Martin; and other relatives and friends.

Elizabeth graduated from Dunbar High School in 1932 and Miner Teacher's College in 1936 and earned a masters degree from Columbia University Teachers College. She was a retired DC public school teacher and a life member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
