Elizabeth (Betty) Mary Smith of Washington, DC, passed away at her daughter’s home on December 31, 2025.

Elizabeth leaves behind her son, Michael Smith (partner Robin); her daughter, Debbie Smith Rayford (Linwood); her three grandchildren, Matthew (Rebecca), Jonathan (Emma), and Lindsey; and her three great-grandchildren, Levi, Oliver, and Eden. Elizabeth is also survived by two sisters in Ireland and a host of other family members both in Ireland and throughout the US.
