Clarence Neill Banton, 79, passed away on August 20, 2025 at his home in Grosse Pointe Park, MI. He is survived by his longtime partner, Kathy Beckwith; cousins Salig and Ashok Sharma; stepdaughter Michelle Pettis, and other friends and associates. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence W. and Elizabeth N. Banton; and brother, James W. Banton.

Clarence was a man of many interests including sports, music, collecting art, and sailing He served two tours in the U.S. Army in Vietnam where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart.
