Carol E. Scates, of Pittsburgh, PA, was a retired employee of the city of Alexandria, VA. She was a 1973 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Scates, she leaves to cherish her memory are her son, Cameron Scates, of Alexandria, VA, daughter, Allison Scates, of Atlanta, GA. as well as siblings, other relatives and many friends.
