C. Thompson Obituary

C. Nadine Thompson, 92, predeceased her husband, Joseph T. Thompson, and her 10 siblings. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cynthia Denise Ward (Sterling), a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her beloved step-grandchildren.

Nadine retired from the DC Board of Education in 1988 after teaching (business subjects) at Anna Burdick Vocational High School for 25 years. She enjoyed many years of retirement life - visiting and hosting family and friends, cooking and playing surrogate mom to her daughter's friends. She was known for her generosity, quick wit and the wisdom she bestowed whether you wanted it or not.

A memorial service will be held post COVID-19 in Washington, DC and Brookport, IL.
