Bettye Jean Whitney, 95, transitioned on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

She was a retired teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools and an avid bridge player who earned bridge masterpoints for games she played all over the country. She also enjoyed gardening and mentoring.
