William B. Davis, of Potomac, MD, was born in Salem, VA to John and Delia Davis. Bill graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Foreign Linguistics and received a Master's Degree in Anthropology from Boston University. Mr. Davis became one of the first five black U.S. Secret Service Agents. He was the founder of Fulbright Commissions in Ghana and Ethiopia and of Wisdom Inc.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Iris Spencer Davis and five brothers. He is survived by his children, Daryl Davis (Brenda) and Shjan Spooner; sister, Carrie Johnson; other relatives and friends.
