Olga V. Courtney

Olga Viola Courtney, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away in Conyers, Georgia at the age of 89 after a long illness.

Olga was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Courtney; her mother, Jenetha Facey; her sisters, Esther Perez and Hazel Coffman; brother, Carlos Facey; and nephew, Roberto Perez.

Olga always had a lively spirit, a passion to keep moving, a never-ending desire to learn, and a reverence for education which she modeled for her immediate and extended family and friends. Olga was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her two children, Stephen Courtney and Sabrina Scott; a brother, Robert Facey; sister, Clara Jenkins; three grandchildren, William (Gus), Albert (Trey), and Courtney; a host of nieces and nephews including Raul, Carlos, Laurene, Grant, Samuel, Carlos, Eric, Sabrina, Jenetha, Soralla, and Robertico, and several grand nieces and nephews.
