Myrtle Lawson Obituary
As heaven's gates opened, Myrtle Joiner Lawson, 76, was ushered in by the King. On that day, her parents, three brothers, and six sisters, who predeceased her, welcomed her in for a grand family reunion.
She was a retired D.C. Public Schools educator.
Myrtle leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 53 years, Eugene; two children, Erik Eugene and Maria Denise; three grandchildren, Ariya, Amani, and Aaron; a twin sister, Mary Belton; four nephews; three nieces; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
