Mary Constance Jarvis Dixon, 86, affectionately known as "Connie", was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Judith Dixon Thomas and five siblings, Norman William Jarvis, Anne Jarvis Bennett, William Ernest Jarvis, Stephen Daniel Jarvis and Richard Wilson Jarvis.
She is survived by her brother, Sidney Jackson Jarvis (Marie); her sister, Charlotte Jarvis Cureton (John) and a host of caring and loving neices, nephews and cousins.
"Connie" taught at Merritt Elementary School for 35 years and was known for her outstanding dedication and committment to her students. She touched many lives and will be remembered and kept in our hearts.
