Marion Francis Gale, Sr.

Marion Francis Gale, Sr., 87, of Silver Spring, MD, peacefully transitioned at home with family at his bedside. He is survived by his loving wife Gwendolyn S. Harris-Gale and their two children, Shaun Phillip Harris of Grand Canyon, AZ and Averie Marie Gale of Silver Spring, MD and her children, Athenia M. Allen and Mia K. Gale; and from a previous union to Catherine Williams Gale, he has five sons, Warner F. Gale, Alexander J. Gale, Marion F. Gale, Jr., Vincent L. Gale, and Ronald T. Gale;  and one daughter, Annette H. Gale. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret (Glenn) Jackson of Washington, DC and one brother, Clarence W. Gale of Charlotte, NC; many other beloved relatives and friends. 

The interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
