Joseph Ellis Taylor

Bishop Joseph Ellis Taylor, Apostle, died peacefully at his home in Washington, DC at the age of 80. Bishop Taylor is survived by his wife, Ethel Hinnant Taylor and three sons, Joseph II of New York, Rodney Jerome of North Carolina and Quinton of Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by the wife of his youth Margaret Ann Dillard Taylor. Bishop Taylor was born May 29, 1937 in Athens, LA to the late Myles and Daisy Taylor. He graduated from Webster High School in Minden, LA, Bowie State University, Bowie, MD, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ and Howard University, Washington, DC.  

The interment at Quantico National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
