Helen Bell Obituary

Helen Geneva Williams Lee Bell was born on September 24, 1918 in Washington, DC, and transitioned to Heaven on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Williams; brothers, Thomas, Chester, Bernard and Joseph Williams; and daughters Jennie Nelson (Irving) and Dr. Shelvie A. Lee McCoy (Samuel).

She is survived by her daughters: Sandra Thomas (Donald), Beverly Brooks (Ronald); and son, Frances Bell (Victoria); 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 17 great, great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild. Also, mourning are the senior residents of Bahr Towers; and members of First Baptist Church, where Mrs. Bell had been the oldest living member.
