Gladys-Marie Fry Obituary

Dr. Gladys-Marie Fry, 84, Professor Emerita at University of Maryland, author and Smithsonian guest curator, she was a leading authority on African American folklore and celebrated for landmark research on quilts. She was the daughter of noted architect, Louis Fry, Sr., and is survived by nieces Dr. Vicki-Lynn Holmes (Anthony) and A'Lexa Genelle Hawkins (Robert), and nephew Louis E. Fry, III (Cora).
