Although it’s been many years since I’ve spoken to Mignon, I will always remember with great fondness the fun times we had a VSU. Vernon, I pray that the Lord blesses and comforts you and your family during this time of grief. Trust and believe that she is now free and resting in His Heavenly arms. With love and encouragement, Cheryl Sampson Taylor

Death has come to us,We have lost our loved one. We recognize that we shall be lonely.Death has come. It is for this we grieve. But we are not as those who grieve without
hope. For we are certain that death, far from being the end, is the beginning of better things for God’s people. But still we must express our sorrow. Mignon, you will always be in our hearts.

Vernon, Angela, Tika, Vernon Jr., and Family. I am deeply saddened to hear that Mignon will be very much missed as a scholar, teacher of teachers, mentor, colleague, friend, mother, and wife. Her dedicated and loving spirt in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all of us. May you find peace and comfort knowing that your loved one has found rest in the arms of the Lord.
God Blessed,
Belinda R. Atkins

May God comfort you and the family during the transition of eternal life. Trust in the Lord, he will always be with you even when you are in tears. Let him be your Rock, for your rock is another strength that you can stand on. Keep smiling because we all know God is saying Well done my child take your place as I give you rest.
