Dr. Ralph Edward Greene, Sr. battled cancer of the prostate for 8 years before succumbing to the disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ella Greene; his son, Ralph Edward Greene, Jr.; his daughter, Denise Angela Greene; his grandsons, Ralph E. Greene III and Kazou Edward Greene; his granddaughters, Mika Denise Greene, Lena Kayioko Greene, Ayodele Simone Lewis and Akosua Ade Lewis; a host of other relatives and friends. Dr. Greene served fellow citizens of the Washington, DC area as a practicing obstetrician for 41 years as well as through his avid volunteerism in Peoples Congregational Church and the Columbia Beach Association.
The interment will be private.
