Mabel B. Carter slipped away peacefully in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry C. Carter; loving sister of Julia Brown Devane of Wilmington, NC; cherished aunt of John Fitch of Lowell, MA, Emily Haygood of Annapolis, MD, and Nadine C. Hubbard of Natural Bridge, VA. She was a friend, advisor and "Spark" for a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Interment at Quantico National Cemetery.
