Preplanning
Many persons are discovering that funeral preplanning can help ensure
financial and emotional well being of the family in the event of death. As a result, prearrangement of funeral services has not only become acceptable but often advisable.
Prearrangement can be as simple as sitting down with one of our licensed funeral directors and recording your wishes. This prearrangement should be
reviewed from time to time and updated if necessary. When you prearrange a funeral with our firm, we keep a copy in our permanent, confidential file and give you a copy for your records.
Prepayment of funerals, if desired, can take various forms, including funeral insurance and funeral savings trusts. McGuire Funeral Service offers an
insurance funded program that allows you to prepay and guarantee your funeral expenses at today's cost, and trust accounts which allow you to save
toward future funeral expenses. Both of these plans are designed to safe-guard your money and give you some control over the funds. In those cases
where governmental regulations require, these accounts can be made irrevocable.
